Ceremony Site Option:
This space can also be used during cocktail hour. An automatic drape comes down while the ballroom is being setup for reception.
We had the privilege of planning of Jillian and Josh’s wedding at The Loft on Pine. Jillian was a kind-hearted and easy going bride and Josh was a soft spoken and caring groom. We truly enjoyed coordinating all the details for them at the amazing venue in Long Beach. Check out some of the photo highlights from the wedding.

The Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Hotel & Resort is a beautiful resort situated on the California coast. It is the only all suite Ventura County resort just 60 minutes from Los Angeles. We were mesmerized by the beauty of the Spanish colonial architecture, the gorgeous outdoor pool and the beautiful sandy beach just a few minutes walk from the resort.
For those interested in having a wedding here, here are some ceremony options.
Garden Courtyard Ceremony
Presidential Lawn Ceremony
Ballroom for Reception
Both ceremony sites can accommodate up to 300 guests and the Mandalay Ballroom can accommodate up to 450 guests for dinner/dance. Many reception packages are available with prices ranging from $79 to $119 per dinner guest.
One of the greatest and most romantic wedding venues is Casa Loma in Toronto. We had the privilege of receiving a private tour of this majestic castle. Food & beverage packages start from $150 per guest with a $30,000 minimum on Saturday evenings. If you choose to have your ceremony onsite, you can use the beautiful Conservatory for a $2000 site fee.
Next, we visited The Great Hall where cocktail receptions normally takes place. The Great Hall also leads to the beautiful terrace and guests will have access to the terrace if weather permits.
Dinner receptions take place in the Library which can accommodate up to 220 guests. We’re a big fan of these white Louis chairs and you will have access to these chairs for your wedding.
One of the special features of Casa Loma is the use of The Glass Pavilion which is operated from May – October. This is located in the East Garden of Casa Loma with stunning views of the city and the castle. This special estate includes sparkling fountains, unique sculptures and display and rare florals.
All the wedding packages include a complimentary bridal suite, tasting, bottle of sparkling wine & chocolate dipped strawberries, multi-course dinner menu, 7 hour host bar package, wine service, midnight coffee and tea service and sparkling wine toast for all guests. We absolutely love this venue and hope you will consider Casa Loma as one of your wedding venues.
Hazel and Evan lived in Vancouver and chose Palm Desert, California as their destination wedding location. Most of the planning was done virtually due to the distance. We were excited to hear about the plans for Hazel and Evan’s wedding day. The bride, Hazel was from China and we were happy to help her plan this joining of two cultures in marriage. The big day included a traditional Chinese ceremony in the morning, a brunch buffet, a Western ceremony in the afternoon and a dinner reception. All the wedding events took place at Palm Valley Country Club where Hazel and Evan owned vacation homes.
After months of planning, the big has arrived. The day began with a 10:00am traditional Chinese ceremony. The first part of the ceremony was for the groom to pick up the bride and bring her back to his home. In order to do this, he must pass a few obstacles as set out by Hazel’s family. Evan passed the tests successfully which was then followed by a tea ceremony with Hazel’s mom and brother. The ceremony was filled with emotions and lots of happy tears.
After the ceremony, Evan placed a red cloth to cover Hazel’s face and led her by her hand back to his house.
After Hazel and Evan arrived back at Evan’s house, a tea ceremony was also performed with Evan’s parents. It is after all these traditions that Hazel becomes officially part of Evan’s family.

After the Chinese ceremony, guests were invited to the Valley Room at Palm Valley Country Club for the brunch buffet. We decorated the room with gold and red elements to match the Chinese theme. All the rental pieces and flowers were prepared by My Little Flower Shop.
At 3:00pm, Hazel and Evan had their Western Ceremony. The ceremony site was decorated with purple and pink flowers and set in front of the natural backdrop from the Palm Trees on the golf course.
Guests returned at 6:00pm for the evening reception. We loved this gorgeous cake prepared by Frost it Cupcakery.
One of our favorite moments that evening was the first dance by Evan and Hazel as all eyes were on them to witness this sweet moment.
Best wishes to our lovely bride and groom from Vancouver and thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day. 🙂
On December 6th, we had the privilege of planning a beautiful Indian wedding in Palm Springs. The wedding took place at Omni Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage. I first met Stephanie and Nick in March and was very excited to work with this sweet couple on their wedding. They had a traditional Indian ceremony and the evening was transformed into a winter wonderland themed reception.
For the ceremony, we used very bright and vibrant colors. The Mandap was filled with shades of bright pink and orange. The ceremony was about an hour long with various Hindu traditions. The beautiful Mandap and flowers were provided by Flowers by Manjit.
The reception decor was also provided by Flowers by Manjit. This winter wonderland themed reception was filled with white, blue and crystal elements. The amazing crystal backdrop took my breath away.
The evening reception included special dance performances by Nick and Stephanie’s family and a delicious Indian buffet prepared by Omni Rancho Las Palmas. It was a beautiful wedding with sweet moments and we want to wish Nick and Stephanie all the best of wishes as they begin this new journey together.
