Huntington Bay Club Grand Opening

We were invited to attend the Huntington Bay Club Grand Opening at the end of October. This venue is owned and operated by 24 Carrots located in Huntington Beach, California. The newly renovated space is surrounded by the beautiful marina and offer both indoor and outdoor spaces.  The three indoor rooms offer panoramic views of the harbor with the smallest room accommodating up to 100 guests and the largest room on the second floor accommodating up to 200 guests.

The Terrace can accommodate up to 250 guests and has the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony overlooking the marina.

The venue also has a private beach surrounded by palm trees which is perfect for events in the sand.

Pasea Hotel & Spa

We recently did a hard hat tour with Pam Olson, the Catering Sales Manager at the much anticipated new Paséa Hotel & Spa that is opening in 2016 in Huntington Beach, California.   We are looking forward to seeing the final project which will feature 250 guestrooms, rooftop deck and bar overlooking the ocean, spa with indoor and outdoor treatment areas, 11 meeting rooms, over 34,000 square feet of event space and much more.  Below are some sneak peeks:

Holiday Celebration at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

On Saturday, December 19th, we were invited to celebrate the Holidays at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley.


The event started with some wine tasting from Kieu Hoang Winery and appetizers from Lee’s Sandwiches and Smokin’ Steve’s Pit BBQ Catering.  The guests were then invited to proceed to Grand Prix to witness a processional of 100 couples who will be getting married at the Hummingbird Estate, a marching band, four horses, horse carriage and 6 helicopters.




After the procession, guests proceeded to The Barn where the dinner and live entertainment were taking place.



The dinner featured 20 main courses starting with beef and chicken kabobs from Masrour Catering followed by sushi, Kobe beef and Santa Barbara Prawn from Q Sushi.  We also tasted amazing fried crawfish, crawfish etouffee, gumbo and crawfish Egg Rolls from World Famous Noel Abbeville Farm.  After all this, we got lamb chops, Okinawa Purple Sweet Potato and Heirloom Carrots from Command Performance Catering.  The evening ended with a fashion show, cake cutting as well as live band performances.

We certainly had a great time and we thank the owner Kieu Hoang for the generous invitation to celebrate at the beautiful Hummingbird Nest Ranch.


Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be featuring wedding and event venues we had the privilege of visiting this past weekend in Palm Springs.

Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs is such an unique space that will attract music lovers all around.  The hotel is like a museum in itself, every corner contains something guests can stop and look at.

We loved this lounge area where we can easily host a cocktail party.

Hard Rock Hotel also contains several ballroom spaces including the Woodstock Ballroom that can accommodate up to 600 guests.  We also loved this great pool area where we can host a pool party and other event functions.

Bat Mitzvah at Casa Del Mar

We had the privilege of coordinating a NYC themed Bat Mitzvah for Lindsey at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica.  We were lucky to work closely with Lindsey’s mom who was extremely creative and organized which made our job really easy.  The big day started at the Wilshire Blvd. temple and all the guests were greeted by Lindsey’s New York Bagel Bar after the service ended.


Michele wanted to transform the Casa Del Mar ballroom into a  big NYC themed party.  As guests entered the ballroom, they were greeted by a large I LOVE NY floral arrangement with escort cards on yellow taxi cabs.


Each table was decorated with a specific theme related to New York such as Broadway, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, TV show ‘Friends’, Little Italy and Chinatown.  The backdrop was an image of the New York City skyline.

Another main theme was Lindsey’s Candy Bar.  The Cocktail Reception area was decorated with candy everywhere and the kids’ area was transformed to a candy paradise with lollipops hanging from the ceiling and all sorts of candy scattered on the tables.  Drinks from the bar were also decorated with candy.

Rancho De Las Palmas in Moorpark, California

We were invited to attend the Open House at Rancho De Las Palmas in Moorpark, California. It’s a beautiful venue with many options.  The venue itself allows for capacity up to 500 with buffet or seated options available.  It’s nestled on a gorgeous outdoor space with tropical setting, waterfall, a lake and beautiful landscape.

The London West Hollywood

We had the opportunity to attend an event at The London West Hollywood and checked out the event spaces available.  We absolutely loved the poolside space and Rooftop West with panoramic views of West Hollywood and the LA skyline. The poolside can accommodate up to 300 guests.  Rooftop West can accommodate up to 250 for dinner and 300 for ceremony and cocktails.

The Hampton Court is another available space with a rose garden overlooking West Hollywood.  The space can accommodate up to 275 for ceremony, 400 for dinner or 600 for cocktails.

A 4,000 square feet of ballroom space is also available at The London. It can accommodate up to 275 for dinner and 350 for ceremony and cocktails.
