We worked with Lucia and Eddie on their wedding that took place at the beautiful Madera Kitchen. I love this space, it has so many cute elements of its own even without any décor added. The space can fit around 100 comfortably and the patio space can be used as a dance floor after dinner. This venue is great for couples who like an intimate setting with a modern and rustic flair.
We loved working with Cynthia and Sherwin on their Tropical themed wedding. Their wedding took place at Quiet Cannon in Montebello. Our cute couple did their first look at Hilton Hotel right next to the venue which had a outdoor space which was perfect for their Tropical theme.
Cynthia was one very talented bride who does calligraphy and signage. All of the large and small wood signs, place cards and table numbers were all designed by Cynthia herself.
Cynthia wanted lots of greenery for her centerpieces to give the guests the tropical feel. She had 60 tables so we did a mix of high and low centerpieces. Every place setting had a monstera leaf and a ferrero rocher made into a pineapple. We loved all the personal touches that Cynthia and Sherwin put into their wedding to make the wedding truly unique.
Congratulations you guys! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!

On Saturday, December 19th, we were invited to celebrate the Holidays at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley.
The event started with some wine tasting from Kieu Hoang Winery and appetizers from Lee’s Sandwiches and Smokin’ Steve’s Pit BBQ Catering. The guests were then invited to proceed to Grand Prix to witness a processional of 100 couples who will be getting married at the Hummingbird Estate, a marching band, four horses, horse carriage and 6 helicopters.
After the procession, guests proceeded to The Barn where the dinner and live entertainment were taking place.
The dinner featured 20 main courses starting with beef and chicken kabobs from Masrour Catering followed by sushi, Kobe beef and Santa Barbara Prawn from Q Sushi. We also tasted amazing fried crawfish, crawfish etouffee, gumbo and crawfish Egg Rolls from World Famous Noel Abbeville Farm. After all this, we got lamb chops, Okinawa Purple Sweet Potato and Heirloom Carrots from Command Performance Catering. The evening ended with a fashion show, cake cutting as well as live band performances.
We certainly had a great time and we thank the owner Kieu Hoang for the generous invitation to celebrate at the beautiful Hummingbird Nest Ranch.
We recently did a site visit to Avalon Hotel Palm Springs. It is a very chic and boutique style venue. If you like modern and chic then this venue is for you. There’s a total of 67 guest rooms, some with a terrace or private patio. There are 13 historic one and two bedroom villas with full kitchens.
There are 3 pools – 1 family pool and 2 adult only.
One of our personal favorites was the Presidio Courtyard for a wedding reception under the stars. Since Palm Springs has a noise restraint, there’s the option of holding your after party in the Presidio Ballroom.
We loved the Avalon Hotel and we hope you will too.
Villa Royale Inn Palm Springs is an intimate boutique hotel with a lot of history and character. There are several ceremony and reception options at the Villa Royale Inn. You can choose to have your ceremony in the garden or with the mountain as the backdrop. For the reception, guests can dine by the pool under the stars or in the charming Europa Restaurant. This is the perfect wedding venue for those planning intimate celebrations.
